 Originally from Italy and now based in NYC, Giorgia Lupi is an information designer, artist and entrepreneur. Giorgia co-founded Accurat, a data-driven design firm with offices in Milan and New York where she is the Creative Director. She is co-author of Dear Data, which in 2016 was selected to become part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. In 2017 she also was commissioned to create an original site-specific piece at MOMA. Her new interactive book. She recently joined MIT Media Lab as a Director’s Fellow. Her TED TALK on data humanism, a term which she helped to coin, has over one million views. Her latest book, Observe, Collect, Draw - A Visual Journal, will be released in September of 2018.
